Ten Best Toasters - Our top ten favourite toasters

Want to know what the top ten best toasters are? Well, we have taken it upon ourselves to give you a rundown of the most popular models including those from Dualit, Breville,Proctor Silex and more.

 It has been difficult compiling this list as the following toasters which range from 2 slice to 4 slice toasters all offer great value for money and awesome features. Having personally had experience with everyone in our list I can tell you that no matter what one you choose you will not be disappointed. Read on to check out our top ten best toasters.

In our opinion one of the best if note the best 4 slice toaster currently available.  With it's slant design and ability to toast well, it comes with an array of nice features that are sure to impress anyone looking for a toaster that does it all.

Back to Basics TEM500 Egg-and-Muffin 2-Slice Toaster and Egg Poacher

Applauded for it's ability to not only toast but poach your eggs.  A great toaster that excels in terms of features that is easy to use and pleasing to the eye.  There is a 4 slice variation of this fabulous toaster for those that want accommodate a larger family.

Proctor Silex 2-Slice Toaster

Proctor Silex is a brand that is not well known in European markets but is gaining popularity in the US.   A reliable toaster that ticks all boxes for those looking for an appliance that is considerably lower in price.  Worth taking a look at.

T Fal Classic Avante

A black and silver trimmed  toaster with the same slant found in the avante deluxe model.  A good 2 slice toaster that is sturdy and reliable.  Toasting performance isn't that great but is still impressive for a unit of it's budget.  There is 4 slice toaster variation of this appliance known as the Avante deluxe classic that comes  with independent loading mechanisms and additional browning settings  

Dualit Lite Soft Touch Toaster

A beautiful little appliance that makes it in our top ten best toasters that comes with the most basic of functions but excels in toasting ability as well as reliability.  With Dualit toasters built to last this unit should be purchased for those wanting to insure they get the best value for money.  The promotional unit comes in beige and white colouring whilst other types can be purchased with silver and black trimmings.

DeLonghi DTT312 2-Slice Adjustable Toaster

The only longs lot type of toaster in our top ten that is stylish and elegant.  Coming with a brushed aluminium grey housing, long slots which can accommodate 4 slice of bread or any other large bread products.  An impressive feature with this unit is that you can bring the heating elements closer to the bread product meaning you get even toasting inside and out, a feature that Delonghi toasters promote with there toaster range.

Bodum 10709-01US Bistro 2-Slice Toaster with Bagel and Bun Warmer

A 2 slice toaster that looks amazing with its stainless steel shell housed in a rubber finish.  For those wanting a simplistic modern appliance then this is the toaster of choice.  A rack comes included to keep bagels and bread warm and the wide loading bays are a welcome addition that are usually left out 2 slice toasters.  Definitely one for those wanting looks.

Black & Decker T2569B 2-Slice Toaster

A good performing toaster that is only let down by it's cheap plastic housing which may put some people off.  Comes with wide slot bays, bread crumb tray, defrost, cancel and bagel functions.  Black and decker are renowned for there sturdy well built products for not only in the home but outside the home too.

Oster 6325 2-Slice Toaster

Apparently coming with advanced toasting technology that insures great toasting, which is true to some degree but in my opinion not as beneficial as Oster claim.  A durable brushed stainless steel exterior, wide and long slots as well as 7 toast shade settings more than make up for the over hyped toasting capability.

Back to Basics TEM500 Egg-and-Muffin 4Slice Toaster and Egg Poacher

The 2 slice variation is our number 2 while the 4 slice back to basics model we have put at number 10 due to it's size.  In terms of features and performance this is exactly the same toaster but with the added egg poacher stuck on the side of this 4 slice toaster it makes the unit seem overly bulky.  If you don't mind your appliance being LARGE, then bump this one up to number 2 or 3!
