It's widely known that it can be extremely hard finding a good performance to price ratio toaster that offers good value for money in all areas.  Thankfully the Cuisinart CPT-120 fills all the gaps with it's affordable price point and great toasting capability

Usually with many cheaper toasters the bread is often left unevenly toasted which leaves the inside soft and the outside burnt.  With this 2 slice toaster none of those commonly known issues were apparent, and even after 6 months of use this unit still performs as well as it did when first purchased.

The wide slot loading bays are especially great for muffins and bagels and I found myself on multiple occasions using this appliance just for that, rather than for just toasting bread!  The lift up carriage lever does come in handy especially after immediate toasting and insures there is no danger of being burnt in the process of taking out bread, bagels or muffins.

Visually it's a small 2 slice toaster that is easy on the eye with no sharp edges.  The cool touch exterior means you no longer have to worry about scolding hands when the unit is in operation and makes it safe for use for children in the home. 

We certainly rate this Cuisinart offering as the best rated 2 slice toaster available and if you find the aesthetics of this unit do not appeal to you then we recommend going after the classic Dualit 2 slice toaster which is albeit slightly more expensive but just as impressive.
